Who Is Crash Helmet?

In 1990's a group of Dean physicians strongly felt that more people, especially children, needed to understand the dangers of riding a bike without a helmet. Their concern and vision evolved into the Crash Helmet educational program and character.

The comical, lovable character Crash Helmet reminds kids and parents that helmets are important anytime they are biking, in-line skating, riding a scooter or skateboarding.

Crash Helmet, whose first appearance was in animated TV commercials, now spends much of his time visiting elementary schools and daycare centers to educate young children of the importance of wearing a bike helmet. Crash Helmet is also often seen spreading his safety message at community events like Kids Expo, Safety Saturday, fundraiser walks and races, and posing for photo ops with anyone who asks.
