ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) - Otolaryngology
Dean Health System's ENT specialists (otolaryngologists) provide consultation, diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, head and neck disorders. Many of these disorders may affect hearing, speech and balance.
Otolaryngologists,
or Ear, Nose & Throat doctors (ENTs), have extensive training
in head and neck surgery and in identifying, treating and preventing
disorders in the head and neck.
Dean’s ENT department works with patients of all ages. A few common conditions that otolaryngologists treat include sinusitis, head and neck tumors and sleep apnea. Children and adults also see an ENT specialist to have their tonsils removed, and for management of chronic ear or sinus infections.
Our board certified specialists also provide surgical treatment for head or neck disorders and cancers; and reconstructive plastic surgery for ears, nose, head and neck.
Primary care providers may refer to an ENT specialist for specific medical conditions related to the head and neck.
