General Surgery
Dean Health System's General Surgery specialists provide comprehensive preoperative, operative, and postoperative care for adult and pediatric patients with diseases, conditions or injuries that require surgery for treatment.
Surgeons
who perform general surgery specialize in (but are not limited
to) surgical treatment of organs that include the esophagus, stomach,
colon, liver, gallbladder and bile ducts, thyroid gland, breasts,
and prostate gland. They also have experience in thoracic and
vascular surgery.
Our board-certified surgeons perform both in-patient and outpatient surgery at fully-equipped surgical suites at various Dean locations including our Day Surgery Centers, and associated hospitals. They perform both major and minimally invasive surgeries, as well as laparascopic and endoscopic procedures. Some of our surgeons provide bariatric consultation and surgery for Dean's Comprehensive Weight Loss Program.
