Dean Health System's Urology specialists (urologists) are medical doctors who diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the genitourinary system, which include the bladder, urinary tract, kidneys, genital structures in women and men, and the prostate and testicles in men. Dean's urologists treat both adult and pediatric patients.
You may be referred to a urologist if you
experience pain or discomfort when urinating, have persistent
urinary tract infections,
blood in the urine, bladder problems including
incontinence, prostate cancer, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction
(impotence), kidney/renal cancer, an enlarged prostate (BPH),
ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction, or pelvic floor disorders.
Our urologists perform surgery when necessary, including minimally invasive laser and laparascopic surgery, and endoscopic procedures.
