St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital & Dean are BRRRReaking Ground!
Janesville, Wis. – Put on your parkas and bundle up the baby because the winds of change will be blowing through Janesville on Monday, November 17, 2008. SSM Health Care of Wisconsin (SSMHC/WI) along with Dean Health System are breaking ground for the new St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital and Dean Clinic Janesville.
“It may be cold outside, but our commitment to exceptional health
care in Janesville is really heating up,” said Mary Starmann-Harrison,
Regional President & CEO of SSM
Health Care of Wisconsin
.
“It’s sure to be a memorable moment forever frozen in time,” said Craig Samitt, M.D., President and CEO of Dean Health System. “We guarantee you haven’t seen a groundbreaking quite like this before.”
With the ground likely to be frozen you certainly won’t be seeing anyone trying to break through the soil with a shovel. Instead, watch as attendees make their mark with tools not usually seen in a soybean field.
The groundbreaking all takes place on Monday, November
17, at 11 a.m.
near the intersection of Wright Road and Hwy 11 in Janesville
just east of I-90. More information can be found at www.stmarysjanesville.com
.
Dean & SSMHC/WI announced the construction of the 50-bed hospital and physician office complex in April. The health care partners plan to open the facilities within two years from the start of construction.
