Two Infant Formula Research Studies in Madison
Qualified Families Receive Study Formula at No Cost
Two new research studies here in Madison may benefit babies’ health. Dean Foundation is enrolling families for two separate research studies on infant formula. The first study assesses growth and tolerance of an investigational infant formula designed for babies who have been diagnosed with a cow milk allergy or food protein allergies. Babies/toddlers can be no more than 3 years of age to take part in this study.
The second of the two studies compares two different infant formulas. One of the two formulas is already a commercially available formula sold in the United States, while the other is a new investigational infant formula. Both are nutritionally complete. Dean Foundation seeks newborns for this study and requires participants to be 15 days old or less. Babies participating must have been born with a weight of at least 5.5 pounds and must have been delivered no earlier than 37 weeks.
Qualified participants of both studies will receive study formula at no cost and compensation for time and travel. To enroll, interested families can contact Nancy with Dean Foundation at (608) 252-8194. Dean Foundation in Madison is proud to be one of several research sites around the nation conducting these infant formula studies.
