Day Surgery Centers
Our
Day Surgery Centers perform same-day surgery
(outpatient surgery or ambulatory surgery) and diagnostic procedures
for patients of all ages.
Our patients check in, have their procedure done in an outpatient operating room or procedure room, and recover under the care of skilled nursing staff without a hospital admission, allowing patients to return to the comfort of their home the same day. We accommodate patients and their families in a comfortable, friendly environment designed to emphasize wellness.
Locations
Surgery & Care Center, Madison
The Surgery & Care Center is located on the 2nd Floor of the new Dean and St. Mary’s Outpatient Center, on the St. Mary's Hospital campus. More than 600 outpatient surgeries are performed there each month.

Digestive Health Center, Madison
The Digestive Health Center, located on the 1st Floor of the Dean and St. Mary's Outpatient Center, provides state-of-the-art screening, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and conditions. Patients may be referred immediately from the Digestive Health Center to the Surgery & Care Center on the 2nd Floor, if surgery is necessary.
Davis Duehr Dean Surgery, Madison
This surgery center specializes in ophthalmic surgery for adults and children, as well as some plastic, gynecologic and podiatric same-day surgeries. Located on the third floor of the Davis Duehr Dean building at 1025 Regent Street, and less than a mile away from St. Mary's Hospital, this day surgery program performs more than 400 outpatient procedures each month.
Riverview Surgery Center, Janesville
Located adjacent to the Dean Riverview Clinic, the Riverview Surgery Center at 616 N. Washington Street performs a full spectrum of surgical specialties as well as GI/Digestive Health endoscopy procedures. Over 400 surgical procedures are performed each month at Riverview Surgery Center.
