About Dean / Dean Foundation
The Dean Foundation for Health, Research and Education was created in 1986 in the search for continuous improvement in health care and in an effort to strengthen and express Dean's commitment to the community. The Foundation is a not-for-profit, public service organization which conducts medical research and provides educational opportunities for professionals and researchers in health related fields, as well as the general public. Funds for the Foundation are raised through tax deductible private donations, corporate donations, and grants. The Foundation has supported research projects in areas such as alcoholism, adult-onset asthma, cancer treatment, allergy treatment, and more. The Foundation is located in the old Middleton Clinic on Allen Blvd.
