The Opportunity
Practice small town family medicine with abundant sub-specialty care nearby. Whitewater, Wisconsin. - Whitewater Family Practice
Dean Health System, a 500+ multi-specialty group, and St. Mary's Hospital, a large tertiary care facility, have established a joint venture which creates a network of local community clinics that are linked to advanced specialty care in Madison, Wisconsin. Whitewater Family Practice Clinic in Whitewater, Wisconsin is one of the clinics. Whitewater Family Practice is seeking a BE/BC family medicine physician to practice family medicine with obstetrics. Enjoy a 4 day work week. Hours are flexible, with the clinic being open from 8:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Clinic hours on Saturday are 8:15 to noon, and physicians work once every fifth Saturday, and one evening per week. The clinic is currently staffed with 3 family medicine physicians and 1 nurse practitioner. The call schedule would be approximately 1 in 4. After hours phone calls are light due to 24 hour nurse triage system. Physicians at this location see approximately 20 patients per day. The physicians share clinical support staff which includes 1 RN, 2 LPN's, 4 CMA's, a lab assistant and x-ray technician. The clinic services include on-site lab and most radiology services.
