The Opportunity
Orthopedic Surgery - West Clinic
Outstanding opportunity for a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join Dean Health System, a 500+ physician owned and directed multi-specialty group. The Orthopedic Surgery Division consists of 10 well-established Orthopedic Surgeons with sub specialists in total joint and hand surgery. This broad-based orthopedic surgery practice will allow the flexibility to practice full scope in orthopedic surgery. This position would be based in Madison with a 1 in 10 call schedule. This position would also provide outreach clinic and surgical services in Dodgeville, WI, which is located 45 minutes from Madison. Excellent compensation and benefits provided with full time employment leading to shareholder status in two years time.

The Hospital
St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center has been serving Madison and South Central Wisconsin since 1912. The hospital is an expanding acute-care hospital with approximately 350 beds and is generally the hospital to which the Dean Health System Physicians admit. St. Mary's is very supportive of the Dean Health System physicians and works in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.
Clinical programs of special interest include the Dean/St. Mary's Cardiac Center, Family Birth Center (including obstetrics, high risk pregnancy, and neonatal intensive care), Neuroscience Center, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Renal Services, and Emergency Services.
