The Opportunity
Internal Medicine - East Clinic
Dean Health System, a 500+ physician multi-specialty group, is actively recruiting for a BE/BC Internist based at the East Clinic. There are 7 Internists at that site. Call is 1/12, which is limited to telephone calls. The new physician has the option of working a 4 or 4.5 day work week. The new physician could work traditional IM or outpatient only IM. The East Clinic has Lab, X-ray, many other specialties, and Urgent Care on site. In addition, physicians will be connected by EPIC, Dean Health Systems’ electronic medical records system. Excellent compensation and benefits will be provided which leads to shareholder status in two years.

The Hospital
St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center has been serving Madison and South Central Wisconsin since 1912. The hospital is an expanding acute-care hospital with approximately 350 beds and is generally the hospital to which the Dean Health System Physicians admit. St. Mary's is very supportive of the Dean Health System physicians and works in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.
Clinical programs of special interest include the Dean/St. Mary's Cardiac Center, Family Birth Center (including obstetrics, high risk pregnancy, and neonatal intensive care), Neuroscience Center, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Renal Services, and Emergency Services.
