The Opportunity
Hospitalist/Nocturnist - Riverview Clinic
Dean Health System is actively recruiting two Nocturnists to initiate the development of a Hospitalist program at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. The work shifts for each physician will initially be from 7pm – 7am, 7 days on-7 days off. Vacation/CME time off is built into schedule. Initially there will be no requirement to remain in-hospital for the shift. Duties include all admissions, consults, and cross coverage for Janesville based Dean primary care physicians and by request may include admissions and consults for other DHS Janesville based specialty services. Our goal is to develop the program into 24-7 coverage over the next three years.
Excellent compensation and benefits are provided for this full time position, with employment leading to shareholder status.

The Hospital
Dean physicians generally admit to Mercy Hospital, a JCAHO accredited 240+ bed facility located in Janesville, Wisconsin (adjacent to the Dean Riverview Clinic).
On-site services available are dialysis, blood bank, in-/out-patient surgical care, laboratory, radiology and organ bank services; and complete physical and occupational therapy, and communicative disorders departments. Specialty services include cardiology, gynecology, neurosurgery, neurology, obstetrics, orthopedics, psychiatry, oncology, pulmonology and urology.
