The Opportunity

Orthopedic Hand Surgeon - Dean Clinic
100% Orthopedic Hand Upper Extremity Surgery Practice in Madison, WI. The Orthopedic Surgery Division is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in hand surgery to help grow our well respected hand surgery program. The Orthopedic Surgery Division consists of 10 well established Orthopedic Surgeons. The Hand Surgery program currently consists of one fellowship trained hand surgeon and two PA’s. The call schedule is 1 in 10 and 2-year partnership track. Dean Health System is one of the largest physician-owned multi-specialty integrated health care delivery systems in the country, with more than 500 physicians and other providers and approximately 65 clinic locations. Dean Health System also provides health care coverage for approximately 230,000 covered lives across an 18 county service through Dean Health Insurance.

The Hospital
St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center has been serving Madison and South Central Wisconsin since 1912. The hospital is an expanding acute-care hospital with approximately 350 beds and is generally the hospital to which the Dean Health System Physicians admit. St. Mary's is very supportive of the Dean Health System physicians and works in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.

Clinical programs of special interest include the Dean/St. Mary's Cardiac Center, Family Birth Center (including obstetrics, high risk pregnancy, and neonatal intensive care), Neuroscience Center, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Renal Services, and Emergency Services.
