St. Mary's/Dean Ventures, Inc. (SMDV) is a joint venture between St Mary's Hospital and Dean Health System that was established in 1989 to create a network of local community clinics linked to advanced specialty care in Madison. SMDV has more than 30 regional clinics, which provide convenient care to outlying communities in Southern Wisconsin, and 3 St Mary's/Dean Day Surgery Centers in Madison and Janesville, which provide outpatient surgery and care.
Waupun Memorial Hospital has been providing round-the-clock care to families and individuals in the Waupun area for more than 50 years and is the hospital to which Dean / SMDV physicians generally admit patients.
Its medical staff physicians provide care in more than 20 medical specialties including emergency and critical care, intensive care unit, physical medicine services, comprehensive dialysis services, cardiac rehabilitation, diagnostic testing (X-rays, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, CT scan, bone density), and holistic health (acupuncture, massage therapy). Cancer care services offer the most advanced treatment available for medical oncology (chemotherapy) patients.

The Community
Waupun offers a quaint Main Street speckled with antique stores and specialty shops. Historic architecture abounds in this family-friendly community.
