Stroke Neurologist to Lead Certified Stroke Center at Dean Health System and St. Mary's Hospital! - Dean & St. Mary's Outpatient Center
Dean Health System and St. Mary's Hospital recently received the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission for Primary Stroke Centers, becoming the first and only program in South Central Wisconsin to obtain this designation. With this exciting news, we are seeking a BC/BE Neurologist with subspecialty training in Stroke/Critical Care to assume a leadership role in this program. The Dean Health System Neurology Department supporting this recruitment includes: Drs. Stanley Boyer, Mary Dominski, Mary Alice Forester, Natasha Frost, Michael Frucht, Bassel Kazkaz, Charles Miley, Oliver Ni, Efrain Perez and Chad Yucus. St. Mary's Hospital is an expanding acute-care hospital with approximately 350 beds. It is the third busiest hospital in the state of Wisconsin when it comes to stroke admissions.

The Hospital
St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center has been serving Madison and South Central Wisconsin since 1912. The hospital is an expanding acute-care hospital with approximately 350 beds and is generally the hospital to which the Dean Health System Physicians admit. St. Mary's is very supportive of the Dean Health System physicians and works in a complementary manner on many joint ventures to provide excellence in patient care.
Clinical programs of special interest include the Dean/St. Mary's Cardiac Center, Family Birth Center (including obstetrics, high risk pregnancy, and neonatal intensive care), Neuroscience Center, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Renal Services, and Emergency Services.
